The other day I was outdoors in my ‘shed’. I was working in there and it is fairly clear. Carpetted, no dust and many others. Occasionally I see the odd, modest black/brown spider. But they have a tendency to dismiss me.

Not once have I seen a sign of any kind of bug, and I’ve looked carefully, yet every morning I wake up with a few more itchy bites. It’s driving me crazy, been going on for a few weeks. Is it possible that you can have a skin disorder or allergy where you self-generate “bites”? Or what?! Any suggestions?

Dude!! I have no thought what it is but the same thing happened to me and my boyfriend when we first went into our house! We bleached EVERYTHING that touches us when we sleep and it stopped. Keep in mind that you could be allergic to your detergent so try switching just to be sure. Even if you’ve been using that detergent for a minute you can develop an allergy over time so it’s worth a try if the lighten doesn’t work.

Anyway when I went to take a shower I noticed this small “bite” had turned into a red swollen area about the size of a dime. It doesn’t hurt at all and it doesn’t itch anymore. Any thoughts?

sounds like a fite ant bite or a non lethal spider bite. it will be alright. just place a cold rag on it, and alcohol and antibiotic ointment, and it will be ok.

You could be allergic to a touch. Bed bugs live in your mattress. If the mattress is more than 2 years ancient you could have dust mites in it. They eat our dead skin when we sleep. Get a mattress cover and the dust mites cant bite.
