Q&A: Gums receding from lip piercing?!? HELP.?
Issue by me: Gums receding from lip piercing?!? Support.?
I expected my lip carried out about 4-five months ago. I have “spider bites” they foretaste like this:
(this is not me but I have this exact same issue)
it has healed entirely but I ongoing out to notice my gums had been receding. (only not more than two of my teeth apt where on earth my studs lay)
It kinda freaked me out so I took them out. I truly don’t want to pocket them out so is there any kind of lip stud that will avert gum recession? Like a gel or rubber stud? or is there any additional way to prevent this from occurring?

I am sorry, but your piercing often causes periodontal (gum) difficulties. I would advise that you get out your piercing. If taking out the piercing is a non choice for you, then you will need to have to be beyond vigilant with your oral care. You need to floss time after time, brush at least 4 times a time, and utilizing a toothpaste for sensitive teeth would also be a excellent alternative 1 time a time. Subsequent time you go to the dentist you can question him/her for a prescription toothpaste (he or she will most most liable give you prevident 5000) When gums go there are often exposed root surfaces, and exposed root surfaces are typically agonizing, and will drastically boost your likelihood at having cavities or needing to have innovative periodontal perform such as root planing.

i had meander bites too.. and the same thing happened with my gums receding. they turned into cavities before i even realized it and i finished up with double root canals..
nobody told me they would do this.. i tried studs, rings, everything and ANYTHING that even lightly touches your gum is going to ‘rub it away’ eventually.
i finished up with double root canals.. i could’ve lost those two extremely vital front teeth. a excellent piercer would tell people that..
